Lived experience of the LGBTQ+ community is welcomed to this role, as promotion of services and health campaigns are based on local and national trends, including PRIDE, World AIDS Day, and National HIV testing week.

The successful candidate will be working both clinically and as part of our outreach and promotions team.

To provide a comprehensive, efficient, and evidence-based service to patients attending for contraception and sexual health screening, treatment, and advice. Working both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team, the candidate will work within the contract of sexual health, adhering to national and local guidance for safe and effective sexual health care. They will be expected to partake in clinical supervision and annual appraisal.

Liaison with outside agencies is required for some of our more vulnerable groups, including safeguarding, drug and alcohol teams, and homeless health. Support with organising and attending Health Promotion events is expected within the LGBTQ+ communities to encourage these groups into mainstream services.
