Role Overview
The Share Plan Specialist is a critical role within the Reward team and integral to the delivery of all Share Plan related activities. Working closely with the Share Plan Manager and regional reward colleagues the Share Plan Specialist will ensure the seamless operation of all TP ICAP plc Share Plans in compliance with global and local principles and regulations. The Share Plan Specialist will support the Share Plan Manager with the administration, analytics and communication of Group share plans to support business objectives.
Role Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for TP ICAP's all employee share plans (UK SAYE and Global Employee Share Purchase Plan) as well as its discretionary plans (DBSP, RSP, SEAP and GEP) and relevant reporting. Assist the Share Plan manager with all aspects of the operation of TP ICAP's employee share plans including: Working with our share plan administrators and other key suppliers to ensure effective day to day operation of our Plans. Assisting the Share Plan Manager with day to day activities and key project deliverables (including employee enquiries, grants and vesting of awards, payroll instructions, financial and tax reporting and ad hoc data requests). Assisting the Share Plan Manager with the annual tax and legal due diligence process to ensure compliance with local laws and reporting. Assisting with the communication process for discretionary and all employee share plans (including updating and promoting employee communication and plan documentation). Working with all parties to ensure arrangements for our globally mobile employees are compliant and managed effectively. Assist with regulatory submissions as required. Working with the Share Plan Manager to identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes and enhance our share plans offering. Utilise technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness, accuracy and control of share plans data and processes. Experience / Competences
Essential Previous experience of administering share schemes with a good understanding of the legislation, tax and regulations that govern share plans. ICSA qualified preferred. Understanding of discretionary plans, with a working knowledge of a variety of award types, as well as all employee share purchase plans and tax advantaged share plans. Sound understanding of share plan legislation and administration both in the UK and globally. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team and interact with employees at all levels. A strong eye for detail together with excellent organisational & communication skills. Advanced IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Desired Experience of working in-house with working knowledge of issues specific to the financial services sector.
