HSE recruitment are working with a global manufacturing company to find them a new

SHE Manager at their facility outside of Crewe.

It is an impressive and highly automated manufacturing site with circa 400 staff. This is a very fast-paced site going through increased industry demands, so they need someone who can join a transitioning business and who can react and adapt to changing demands and pressures.

Reporting into the senior site operations manager and a dotted line into the division SHE manager, you will have the autonomy to lead SHE across the site with your team of 6 with the support of the wider group. You will liaise and influence key stakeholders to ensure that the strategic SHE objectives are being delivered and developing the culture. There are strong procedures and processes in place and established ISO systems which you will manage. Being part of a larger group you will implement group policies and report upwards on key data.

What we are looking for:

Experienced SHE Manager with experience managing a team within a large complex manufacturing business. COMAH experience is desirable but not essential. Experience leading change, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving culture change. Diploma or Degree level qualified in Health & Safety. ISO Systems experience.

Salary and package: up to £62,000 + 10% annual bonus, pension is matched +2% at max 8%, 25 days holiday + BH, life assurance 6x basic salary. Flexible working, an employee assistance programme, Cycle2work, and employee discounts.
