Up to £35,375 DOE
Initially:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Friday: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
Will move to 2 shifts:
Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm
Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Orion Electrotech are working with a great company dedicated to providing high-quality metal fabrication services, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
Key Responsibilities:
Use of hand tools to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.
Inspect, assemble and smooth seams and joints of welded, brazed or burred surfaces.
Assemble and weld components to construct products.
Measure, cut, and join metal sheets with precision and accuracy.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of metal properties and how they affect fabrication processes.
Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in sheet metal work.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a metal fabrication environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
