As our business evolves, we have an exciting opportunity for a Shell Fabricator to join our team of highly skilled Shell Fabricators in our busy Shell Shop Department. Assembling roll cages for a variety of high-performance vehicles, our Shell Fabricators are quite literally at the core of everything we do – applying a high standard of workmanship as our competition cars tackle some of the world’s most challenging terrain. Responsibilities

Fabricating items and sub-assemblies onto competition car roll cages. Working with carbon steel and aluminium to a high standard and accuracy. Mig and Tig welding. Setting up and operating fabrication workshop machinery – Guillotines/ Presses/ Folders. Cutting and shaping materials using grinders/ oxy fuel/ plasma processes. Fabricating jigs and fixtures. Working closely with Designers and Senior Fabricators with development work. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The candidate should be educated to a Level 3 certificate or equivalent qualification in Fabrication and Welding and have a good knowledge and understanding of engineering principles. You should be able to undertake basic fabrication and welding tasks with minimum guidance and be able to read and understand engineering drawings as well as understanding basic inspection and measurement tools. You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, have good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach. You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results. WHAT WE OFFER
