Portsmouth Area, with potential to work on our other southern sites. Role Description This is a full-time, permanent contract SHEQ Advisor role at Ward & Burke joining our Southern SHEQ team. The role includes: Advise and help with the day-to-day tasks related to safety, health, environment, and quality management Carrying out safety audits and inspections Developing and implementing safety controls Carrying out incident investigations Creating and reviewing safe systems of works Advising on and arranging required training as per our training matrix and identify training needs Liaising with our clients and other contractors Monitoring and reporting on safety performance Education, Skills & Experience Experience in safety, health, environment, and quality management NEBOSH construction or equivalent as a minimum Technical member of IOSH is desirable Knowledge of CDM regulations and other relevant legislation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Relevant certifications or qualifications in safety, health, environment, or quality management Experience in the construction industry in the principal contractor/Designer role is desirable Hold a full driving license What Ward And Burke Can Offer You Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Be involved in projects from start to finish Training and support for professional development To apply for this position please either complete the form below or email a CV and cover letter to
