SHEQ Manager opportunity available with our client, a Sussex-based drainage contractor, who are offering a substantial package including a salary of up to £50k, a company vehicle, pension, holiday, and additional benefits. Our client is a well-established drainage contractor who works with clients including local councils, highways, sports stadiums, and in the rail sector.
This opportunity will be based out of our client's offices in Heathfield (East Sussex), and will be a mixture of office and site-based works, visiting our client's local depots across Sussex, Surrey, and London, along with our client's satellite depots in Somerset and the Midlands at times.
The role will involve managing the health and safety processes of our clients expanding drainage business, including visiting depots and sites to complete risk assessments, organising safety training, monitoring compliance, and collating H&S reports and statistics for review.
SHEQ Manager Job Requirements NEBOSH certificate (essential), with a Level 5/6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health desirable (IOSH) Based within a commutable distance of Heathfield, East Sussex Any experience within the drainage, engineering, transport, or highways sector highly desirable Full UK driving licence, and happy to travel across Sussex, Surrey, London, Somerset, and the Midlands where necessary
SHEQ Manager Salary & Benefits £45,000 - £50,000, negotiable depending on experience Company car provided 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), rising to 33 days with tenure Company pension Additional benefits provided including vouchers for birthdays, referrals, and a sabbatical provided through tenure
