14 January 2025 Shift Electrical Lead Engineer Manchester, M1 4BT Permanent, Day Shifts Summary We are seeking an experienced and driven Shift Electrical Lead Engineer to join our team in an iconic Manchester City Centre building. As a qualified and passionate electrical engineer, you’ll take pride in delivering high-quality technical work while mentoring your team to help them grow. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations of building services. Day Shifts ONLY 0700-1900 Working pattern: 2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off - Repeat Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Leadership & Service Delivery:

Lead your team in delivering exceptional service, ensuring performance standards are met and taking corrective action when needed. Team Management:

Provide first-line management, setting clear team objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting individual development. PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance):

Oversee and deliver PPM for Mechanical & Electrical building services systems, ensuring all work aligns with agreed schedules. Reactive Works:

Efficiently cost and complete reactive repairs identified during PPM, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for an inspiring Lead Engineer with a proven track record in the following: Supervising reactive repairs and managing small projects. Experience leading teams and overseeing the delivery of building services. A formal electrical or mechanical apprenticeship qualification. Passion for high-quality technical work and mentoring junior engineers to foster growth within the team. You will hold current qualifications to work as an Electrical Engineer including: Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential) City & Guilds Electrical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent. 18th Edition Conversant with Electrical Plant related Building Services PPM's.
