Shift Electrician focuses on carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works.

What the role involves

• Carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works.
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and statutory building regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation using IT systems.
• Supporting preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and ongoing monitoring.

Skills and requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience within facilities management or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred).

Confirmed role details

• ROLE: Shift Electrician/Electrical Engineer.
• Full Time – Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts (4 days on, 4 off, followed by 4 nights).
• We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who will deliver excellent service standards while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to maintenance schedules.
