They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, that is electrically biased, to join their close-knit team. Role & Responsibilities: Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis Dealing with high-speed production, processing & packaging machinery Working on such machinery/systems as: conveyors, silos, blowers, steam & boiler systems, industrial control systems, dryers, robotics, chillers, air systems, automation & control systems PLC’s – electrical fault finding Electrical & mechanical fault finding, analysis & repair Stores and spare parts management, use of Maximo asset care management systems Dealing with motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors, drives, inverters, circuits, hydraulics Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must be a multi-skilled engineer, with an electrical bias Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship – formal qualifications Ideally HNC qualified Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently Both electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilities Ideally have worked in FMCG, fast-paced manufacturing Dealt with hydraulics & pneumatics PLC – electrical fault finding skills 17th or 18th Edition beneficial Need to be self-motivated, team players, strong communicator, enthusiastic & driven character Able to work on own initiative, sometimes unsupervised
