We are now recruiting for a Shift Engineering Manager to join us. Reporting to the

Site Engineering Manager , this role will be responsible for: Key Accountabilities: Responsible for the safe and hygienic deployment of engineering activities across the Burton site but with particular focus on the brewery and packaging departments. Management of the engineering function including all welfare and facilities concerns. Responsible for budgetary control of all site Maintenance Teams. Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a flexible and agile multi-disciplined engineering team. Ensure the brewery CMMS system is used accordingly and that the quality and accuracy of inputs and outputs are meeting the agreed standards and target levels. Responsible for organising all routine, preventive and corrective maintenance within the packaging departments. Responsible for the identification and control of all relevant spare parts, replacement parts and consumables. Management of all relevant maintenance contractors. Responsible for the implementation of all relevant group Maintenance and TPM standards. Responsible for the training of all operational teams in Autonomous Maintenance and TPM related tasks. Experience and Key Attributes: Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline or have experience and a proven record of managing engineering within an FMCG company. Knowledge and experience of applying Lean TPM philosophies, tools and techniques. Knowledge of key standards in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental. A working knowledge of employment law, typical HR policies and procedures would be advantageous in the role. Competent coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills. Full UK Driving License.
