Shift Maintenance Engineer – Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 12hr days and night shift rotation – 6 days off plus holidays rotation Wigan, Lancashire 49k Salary + Up to 5% Bonus Up to 9% Pension 22 Days take when you want holidays A state of the art, highly automated production facility in Wigan is seeking multiple highly motivated and experienced Shift Maintenance Engineers – Electrical or Mechanical bias. This role is pivotal in the ongoing plans for growth and maintaining the seamless operation of the FMCG production facility. The role emphasizes three key pillars: Preventive maintenance / Minimising downtime Continuous improvement – To enhance reliability and performance Project support In order to be successful: Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent) Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities Electrical and mechanical fault finding, maintenance and experience PLC Fault finding experience preferred (Electrical bias only) There are 2 Mechanical bias & 1 Electrical bias maintenance positions on offer.
