Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturer based in Barnsley to recruit a Shift Maintenance Supervisor. Salary:
£48,368 pa Shift:
Panama pattern of 12 hour shifts with a weekly average of 42 hours 25 days holiday plus additional entitlement in lieu of Bank Holidays Pension 5% Employer and Minimum of 3% Employee Occupational Health – Annual checks and access to additional as required. 95% Sick pay after first year Long Service Awards 1st year and then in increments of 5 years Staff development – various training and development opportunities available Cycle to Work Scheme. The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering shift team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities of the Shift Maintenance Supervisor: Supervise and lead the engineering shift team to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment. Ensure PPM tasks are completed and work with others on PPM and AM improvements. Manage and develop maintenance work lists for immediate deployment during planned/unplanned stops. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency. Skills and Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor: Proven experience in an engineering supervisory role. HNC Engineering or ONC with significant experience. COMPEX Elec or Mech. Awareness of the practical implications of all relevant Statutory legislation (PUWER, EAWR, LOLER, Risk Assessment, PSSR, CDM).
