Your new role We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repairs on installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake / extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCU's etc.) and water system assets, such as booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters etc. This position would be ideal for a Steam Engineer holding a BOAS accreditation due to the nature of the site. You'll have the capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota. Shift - Double day shift pattern rotating an alternative weeks. Earlies: 07.00am-3.00pm. Lates: 12.30pm-9.00pm.
What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment, C&G Level 3 or Level 5 NVQ or HNC equivalent and Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working. A full UK driving license is required.
