4 on 4 off 2 Days, 2 Nights (7-7) 2 Months Initial Contract Company Overview Our client is a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, delivering up to 2 million units weekly to major UK supermarkets. We are looking to expand our engineering team with a Shift Multi-Skilled Engineer for our Wrexham site. Key Responsibilities Shift begins at 7 AM with a handover. You will receive your allocated area (low risk, packing, or high risk). Electrical systems: Inverters, relays, contactors, switches, solenoids, electric valves, temperature controllers, and drives. Mechanical systems: Shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics. Ensure a seamless production environment by performing reactive and planned preventive maintenance. Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations, including Legionella control. Maintain and optimize refrigeration, compressed air, steam, and effluent treatment systems. Candidate Profile Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus. Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems such as inverters, drives, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to quickly adapt to different production environments and work as part of a dynamic team.
