Shift Production Manager
to lead and drive the performance of our manufacturing operations. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned production shift, ensuring targets for safety, quality, and output are consistently achieved. Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where required to meet production goals. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations and product integrity. Prepare shift reports and communicate with the next shift to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. A track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence. Knowledge of lean principles, 5S and six sigma Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting. Flexibility to work rotational or fixed shifts as required.
