Join our Operations team as a Shift Specialist at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a crucial role in ensuring that manufacturing targets are achieved in accordance with GMP requirements.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
Supervise manufacturing
Continuously monitor, operate, and cover the production line activities to ensure that manufacturing targets are achieved in accordance with GMP requirements.
Act as a key link between the production process, shift team, Shift Manager, and technical teams by providing clear information about the process and plant status.
Have authority to stop the manufacturing process if it is believed that either safety or quality requirements have/will be compromised if manufacturing continues.
Deliver the training and development plan for the shift team.
Accountable for ensuring training records are completed on a daily basis.
Perform processing activities.
Occasional cover of the Shift Manager role may be necessary.
Our Requirements
Demonstrable competency to train others (e.g., recognised expertise in equipment use and processing activities, proprietary training for training others) is essential.
Technical/Process background is desirable.
Good general standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent is essential.
