We seek a skilled and experienced Shipping Export Coordinator with out-of-gauge, break bulk, and project cargo experience within sea freight or shipping. A background working with a shipping agency, shipping line, or vessel operation would be ideal. You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end export shipments and overseeing the transportation of goods via marine vessels, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all regulations. Your key responsibilities as a Shipping Export Coordinator:
Dealing with OOG, Breakbulk/Project Cargo shipments, planning, and logistics. End-to-end Export operations. Cross-trade experience is essential. Formulating estimates and converting them into bookings. Managing all financial aspects of shipments, including costings, booking, and coordination of yacht transportation (shipping, cradling, insurance, wrapping, customs, and surveying). Vessel charter operations (liaising with ship owners, shipbroker, internal and overseas P&M offices, port agents). Shipping documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, cargo manifest, Mate receipt, LOI). Demurrage calculations (based on our voyage charter party). Liaising with the client to gain technical details. Sending communications to clients and keeping updates regular. Updating clients with load/discharge sequences even when out of hours. Monitoring cost accuracy from subcontractors/check port costs and maximizing profit by reducing costs. Resolving operational issues when required. Communicating operational matters with loadmaster teams. Ensuring compliance with regulations and trade compliance laws. Benefits:
