They are seeking an experienced, passionate, and sales-oriented Ship Chartering and Agency Manager to lead and grow the business in line with targets. This is a new role for the business, so you will be an important part of a growing successful team focused on taking the business to the next level, which will mean the opportunity to earn Equity or for Business Career Growth within the company. Key Requirements of the role Responsibilities Developing and delivering planned marketing activity. Generating new business sales. Managing and delivering operational performance. Working as a team member. Expected Results Proactively manage and deliver new and existing customer opportunities. Grow the business in line with business targets. Become a leader of the logistics team. Engage well with customers at events. Uphold ISO 9001 QA award. Standards to be upheld Work to ISO 9001. Creative. Well Organized. Timely. Good with words. Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience. Very good shipbroker knowledge. Ships Agency/Stevedoring/Cranes knowledge is an advantage. Oversee logistics department and cover colleagues when needed. Good communication skills in writing, etc. Salary & benefits package £40 to £50K pa, dependent on experience, plus timely bonuses based on success. This is a Full Time Commitment Position.
