We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, including the assembly and installation of structures and fixtures. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. The Joiner will work on various projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

These Shopfitting projects will become Nationwide throughout 2025 on long-term contracts.

Responsibilities

Execute joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials. Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures with precision. Perform masonry work as required for specific projects. Carry out painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed work. Ensure all installations are plumb and level according to specifications. Operate power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and roofers, to ensure seamless project completion. Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the assembly and installation processes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Qualifications Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry - minimum of 5 years. Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and carpentry principles. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to joinery work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Good physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting when required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
