To ensure that Production activities are carried out efficiently, effectively and in a controlled and timely manner and that OTIF & Quality performance is maintained at SC21 silver award levels or better.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Supervision of Cell Leads and Production Operatives
Encouraging operators to take ownership of their work and make suggestions for the local Continuous Sustainable Improvement Plan (CSIP)
Daily meetings with Planner to review work schedule and timings
Working closely with the Test & Engineering teams to deliver continual improvements in process, waste & quality
Lead weekly all hands meetings & Monthly Team Brief
Annual Performance Development Reviews
A key part of the Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) Project you will be expected to drive improvement projects on the shopfloor
Focus on improving productivity and
Identification of Operatives Training Requirements
On the job training and training record maintenance
On line quality inspection
Internal Quality ‘4-Blocker’
Production Process Creation and Maintenance, working with Production Engineering Manager
Maintain 5S standards of cleanliness and tidiness as defined in the Corby 5S plan
