Shop Manager

to manage our deputy and bank team and together with a wonderful group of loyal volunteers to drive sales in this high-donating and busy flagship shop. This post will have a strong focus on driving sales and Gift Aid, people management, event organisation, visual merchandising and customer experience. Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Knowledge: A passion for retail and being a ‘people person’ Good general standard of education A love of reading and an understanding of the benefits of reading Previous charity retail experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong operational and organisational skills Good numeracy skills Confident IT user Ability to work under pressure and multi-task Physical strength for manual lifting and handling Salary:

£20,332.80 (Part time x 4 days) Benefits: 30 hours a week working 4 out of 7 days trading 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays – pro rata) Wide range of free training courses Team camaraderie and support Contribution to community and sustainability DBS Check:
