Location: Belfast Salary range: £25,740 per annum Experience: 3 Years in customer facing retail environment The Role: Retail Shop Manager An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Shop Manager to join our shop on the Springfield Road, Belfast. We are looking for an energetic and creative, self-motivated individual who is customer and people centric, who will work closely with the Regional Retail Manager and the current team made up of volunteers and scheme workers with a goal to optimise sales so we can better serve the community and make a difference. This is an exciting time to work in Charity Retail, where we have a strong focus on contributing to a sustainable circular economy and helping people in need using donated preloved clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac. Should you be successful you will be part of a fantastic team made up of thirty shops in the North of Ireland region. This is a full-time permanent role; if you think this is you, please apply. Candidate Requirements: Education Should have 5 GCSEs at C or above, including Maths and English or equivalent. Should be educated to third level in a business-related field or equivalent. Experience At least 3 years in a customer facing retail environment. Experience of managing/working with a diverse team of people. Experience of independent working and also working as part of a team. Experience of providing and analyzing sales reports. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in individual and group situations. An ability to establish and foster excellent working relationships with many different people across different functions and locations. Competent in IT packages - Excel, Word, EPOS, Microsoft 365. A positive outlook with resilience and persistence in the face of barriers and setbacks. An ability to display empathy, patience and a well-developed sense of humor.
