The Advocate Group are partnering with a global FMCG business, on the hunt for a Shopper Marketing Executive with experience in retail marketing and activation in the Convenience and Cash & Carry channel.
About the role: As Shopper Marketing Executive for Convenience, you will be responsible for delivering and executing activations in this channel to drive growth and brand awareness. Including accounts such as: Co op, Nisa, Booker, Costco, Marks & Spencers and more!
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver activations aligned with channel plans. Partner with customers to enhance brand value and performance. Collaborate with marketing and sales on partnerships and activations. Support the activation calendar around key brand moments. Manage innovation launch plans in Convenience and Cash & Carry. Monitor KPIs, optimise campaigns, and ensure clear ROI. Collect activation insights and report to the Insights & Reporting Manager. Research and share competitor insights and best practices. Contribute to brand planning and strategy to drive growth.
About you: Experience in Customer/Trade/Shopper Marketing within an FMCG environment. Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape. Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering activations in a range of customers, ensuring the needs of the business and the needs of the customer are met. Strong project management skills. Ability to understand and utilise category insights to inform activation plans. Passion for the world of spirits, an interest to join a growing business & the desire to make your mark!
