What you'll be doing

Accountable for setting the strategy and direction of the SIEM delivery team, in line with Secure Development and Interstellar programme goals. Build and lead a high performing team of engineers capable of responding rapidly to the changing security landscape. Be a leader within the Software Engineering community in Birmingham - driving collaboration and sharing of best practices. Be an active member of the Secure Development senior team implementing the strategic direction of the unit. Skills Required for the Role

Leadership: strong skills in people leadership and building a high performance culture. Delivery: a focus on delivering to customer expectations will be one of your key skills. Stakeholder: the ability to build rapport and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business is a skill you will need. Experience Required for the Role

Mandatory

Experienced manager (3 years+) of a software delivery team of 6+ Delivery management of software projects (3 years +) Strong project governance (reporting, communications, risk management) skills Preferred

SIEM or similar cyber security tool development Elastic search design/development skills Delivery of security tooling Agile delivery Benefits
