Main duties of the job
AMU is a 40 bedded unit with a 4 bedded Acute Care Bay. The unit's role is pivotal in the management of medical admissions to the Trust, and works closely with the Emergency Department and in-patients areas.
The Acute Medical Unit is actively committed to looking at ways to improve the patient experience, ensuring we create an environment where patients feel safe, cared for and confident in treatment they receive and strive to be the best provider in our class.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination of the unit, whist leading and developing a skilled workforce to deliver high quality patient centered care.
