You will be expected to act in a professional manner at all times, ensuring that the service is clinically effective in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies, and procedures.
You would be required to support junior staff and students and provide specific clinical knowledge and advice to a multi-professional team.
Your role would include day and night shifts, including weekends, and there would be an expectation to work across both the RDH and QHB sites.

Main duties of the job To support the Senior leadership team, along with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating family-centred care in a safe and caring environment.
You must possess working neonatal clinical knowledge and have demonstrable experience in Neonatal Intensive Care with the relevant qualifications.
Experience as a Shift Coordinator on a Neonatal Unit would be desirable. This post is based cross-site, covering both Derby and Burton to fully meet the needs of the Neonatal service.
You should have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to utilise these effectively. You should be professional and a role model, leading by example and displaying exemplary standards of behaviour at all times.
You should be open and eager to learn new skills whilst also being able to provide guidance and support to Junior members of staff and students.
