An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team on Darwin Wards team at Samuel Johnson Community Hospital.

This is a permanent band 6 role and the post offers full time or part time hours. Leadership experience is an advantage and clinical management of staff and rosters.

Main duties of the job

The world's population is ageing and we are all familiar with the challenges of meeting the needs of the growing number of older people here at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. We all work tirelessly to ensure the right care and support services are in place when older people need them.

Requirements:

NMC Registered Nurse You will have evidence of relevant ongoing professional development Leadership skills Able to assess risks and take appropriate action to manage identified risks Able to work as part of a team, and take responsibility and management of the area.
