The hours are 08.00-20.00 over 7 days including bank holidays. Our Same Day Emergency Care Unit is a hub of activity that provides the key to safe, effective patient treatment and flow. We have varied pathways covering a wide variety of Emergency Medical Conditions. Our aim is to provide seamless, high-quality care for patients using our service. We pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming team - both Nursing and Medical - where you never feel alone and get the support that you need. We also work very closely with our colleagues from the Acute Medical Unit and other specialist teams. If you are looking to achieve something new every day - learning clinical skills, learning new life skills, meeting new people, or having a positive impact on patient experience - this is the opportunity for you. You will need at least two years' experience in an acute setting at Band 5, and ENB 998 (Mentorship level 3) or the equivalent or Practice Supervisor assessor course. Opportunities for further education will be available. Our clinic operates a seven-day service from 08.00-20.00 (excluding bank holidays). All applicants must be available to work until 20.00.
