Main duties of the job
The Band 6 post holder will support the overarching Band 7 Senior Sister (Outpatient Services) along with Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse Main OPD and Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse for Max / Fax OPD. Each of the band 6 Sister / Charge Nurses will manage the aligned Outpatient area and report to Band 7 Senior for day to day Quality & Safety Governance assurances.
The post holder will work collaboratively as a member of the Outpatients team to ensure assessments of daily allocation of staff to aligned clinics and management of patient services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

NMC Registered Nurse Diploma in Nursing or willingness to undertake Advanced Life Support or willingness to undertake

Significant post registration experience at band 5 Experience within an appropriate orthopaedic clinical area
