Responsibilities
Process and manage site purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments. Handle cash management and stock control for the visitor centre using the EPOS system to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and present regular financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against targets. Oversee and manage payroll processing for all site employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, conducting internal audits as necessary. Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level or holding an AAT qualification or candidates qualified by experience may be considered. Proven experience in a similar finance/accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or hospitality sector. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
