Employee Discount Platform Cycle to Work Scheme Milestone Civils Projects division is currently looking to recruit a Site Agent to work with our Projects Team within the South East Region. As a Site Agent you will be part of our South East Region Projects delivery team who are responsible for delivering a wide variety of exciting highways improvements schemes, civils projects and various frameworks including National Highways SDF Framework. As the Site Agent your duties & responsibilities will be: Lead associated site team including Milestone supervision and subcontractors to successful completion of works Monitor site activities against target programmes reporting exceptions in outputs, delays etc. Ensure adequate records are maintained through site photographs, daily diaries and as built drawings. Carry out daily site briefings and supervise sub-contractor task briefings. Attend client meetings to provide them with a delivery update and manage any adverse issues. Write and maintain contract programme Formal communications to clients and subcontractors including but not limited to Early Warnings, and instructions. Assist in the tendering of works including evaluation and selection of sub-contract packages. Liaise with commercial team, designers and site teams to manage changes identified on site. Able to supervise night operations when required and provide a report to the Site Agent / Project Manager at the end of the shift Carryout site inductions, toolbox talks and briefings to site operatives Ensure adequate records are maintained through photographs, site diaries and as built drawings Carry out a public facing communication role on the project which includes attending Public Liaison meetings, communication with and keeping a log of public communications, interfacing with the Client customer liaison team. Communicate effectively with the MI Site Team and Engineer to ensure the works are planned in line with the agreed programme. Be willing to work nights and/or away from home for short periods where required. Skills & Knowledge Requirements: Possession of SMSTS Driving license Demonstrable experience of supervising Highway improvement and public realm work. A good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, structures, and Highways A good level of commercial acumen to facilitate cost control. Effective team management, leadership and influencing skills to get the best from everyone. Experience of working on NEC3 and NEC4 contracts including the mechanisms for notifications.
