We are looking for a Site Assistant to assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment. This role will be based across two schools within our Trust – Shireland Biomedical UTC and Shireland CBSO Academy. Duties and Responsibilities Open and close the Academy as required Set up and pack away tables/chairs for mock and public examinations Switch alarms on/off as and when required Assist with general site activities/tasks e.g. painting, repairs, maintenance Set up equipment/resources as and when required e.g. for shows, events in our Sport Hall Following H+S procedures to ensure site safety e.g. inclement weather Ensuring site cleanliness e.g. empty bins, cleaning spillages etc. Undergo any further training where necessary e.g. fire safety, manual handling etc.
