Your Role:
As a Site Chemist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and compliant management of waste in the Transfer Station. Working closely with Site Management and Operatives, your responsibilities will include:
Processing and inspection of incoming waste loads. Arranging outgoing loads in line with regulations. Stock control in adherence to the PPC Permit. Conducting pre-acceptance and acceptance sampling/testing. Managing and completing all relevant paperwork to ensure full compliance.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: HNC in Chemistry (or a suitable variant).
Skills and Experience: Strong communication and coordination skills, adaptable across all levels of an organisation. Ability to plan, prioritise, and execute your workload effectively. Confidence in adapting to and using waste software systems.
