Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: Acting as the Site Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring compliance with the Electricity at Work Act 1989 and other relevant standards. Coaching and developing a high-performing electrical engineering team. Lead electrical strategies, legal compliance, business continuity, and strategic development of electrical systems. Undertake the Site Electrical Duty holder role. Lead DSEAR Compex assessment. Support the Environmental Leader on energy reduction, efficiency, and renewable energy sources. Implement and maintain site electrical systems to support business continuity and operational excellence. Drive improvements in energy efficiency, sustainability, and renewable energy integration. Lead compliance on site, including control of all High Voltage contractors. Coordinate electrical works for significant projects. Manage electrical systems maintenance, compliance audits, and risk assessments. Key Requirements: Proven experience influencing and leading electrical engineering teams. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and utilities in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of legal and compliance standards, including DSEAR and Electricity at Work Act 1989. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Time-served Electrical Engineer with a HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. High Voltage Authorised Persons Certificate. IOSH Electrical Safety and IEMA Environmental Management qualifications.
