The Role A Site Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of a construction project, ensuring it is completed to the required standards and within budget and timeframe. The main duties of a Site Engineer are as follows: Setting out the works and ensuring accuracy of levels and dimensions. Managing subcontractors and coordinating their work. Preparing and maintaining site records, including progress reports and drawings. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Resolving technical queries and problems that arise on site. Key Responsibilities Overseeing quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with specifications and building regulations. Monitoring project progress and reporting to management, highlighting any potential issues or delays. Proactively identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise on site. Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work meets required standards and deadlines. Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders. Contributing to the overall success of the project by delivering it on time and within budget. Communicating with your site supervisor on any health and safety concerns. Feeding back to site management with any near miss/close call reporting. Attending relevant site briefings, forums and toolbox talks. Employed Benefits Career Development Opportunities.
