Abatec is seeking an experienced, freelance Site Engineer to join our client, a multi-faceted, regional civil engineering contractor who is delivering a multi-million-pound highways project in Bristol.
The long-term project requires a candidate to have experience working on highways schemes, as well as earthworks, drainage, RC structures, and surfacing knowledge.
As Site Engineer you will:
Assist in the preparation of 'as-built drawings' Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across the site. Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary. Assist in providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations. A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering. Understanding of AutoCAD.
Salary and benefits include:
£300 - £350 LTD.
