Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer (multiple sites) on a freelance contract to join our client, a regional contractor, for multiple Civil Engineering projects in the Bristol and Somerset area.
The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, and setting out.
As Site Engineer you will:
Have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in setting out on civil engineering schemes. Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings. Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary. Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
Experience with Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels). Valid CSCS. A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. Experience in Groundworks, Earthworks, and RC works. Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable. Salary/Benefits:
