Job Advert: Site Engineer (6-Month Contract)
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: Monday, 3rd February 2025
Pay: £300-£350 per day
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a 6-month contract on a housing site in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting out and drainage work, and must be comfortable working on a busy construction site with a subcontractor team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for the housing site
* Drainage installation and management
* Ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications
* Working closely with the site management team to ensure smooth daily operations
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
* Liaising with other site staff to ensure health and safety compliance
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on housing sites
* Proficiency in setting out and drainage works
* Own surveying instrument required
* Ability to interpret construction drawings and project specifications
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* CSCS Card (required)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
