Our client, a leading organisation in the Highways Transport sector, is currently seeking an Experienced Civils Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out and transferring control using a Total Station Conducting quality control processes Setting out and issuing permits, including Permits to Dig, HWP, and Permits to Enter Applying engineering principles to site activities Utilising knowledge of excavation techniques and compaction of stone Managing and supervising project activities to ensure successful delivery Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Experience in site engineering within the highways sector Proficiency in setting out and using Total Station equipment Understanding of engineering principles and quality control processes Ability to issue permits and manage site documentation Knowledge of excavation techniques and compaction of stone Holding a current Temp Works qualification is advantageous Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Capacity to work effectively under contract conditions
