£36,000 – £38,000 per annum (package includes company van) Blackfox Solutions are working with a dynamic construction company based in Enniskillen, seeking a skilled Site Engineer to manage on-site aspects of road surfacing projects. This role involves ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently to a high standard. The successful candidate will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Supervisors to coordinate works, monitor progress, and maintain quality control. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise, and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. Manage staff and resources to optimize project performance. Devise and implement traffic management plans. Monitor daily progress and provide reports aligned with the works schedule. Measure works on-site to assist with pricing and tender preparation. Provide technical support, identifying and addressing any issues during the project. Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and site audits to promote safety. Liaise with clients and statutory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery. Requirements:
Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Site Engineer in the civil engineering sector. Experience in the road surfacing industry is advantageous. Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, with a focus on groundworks. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Valid UK Driving License required. How to apply:
