Leading civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on the groundbreaking Sizewell C nuclear power plant project. This is an opportunity to be part of a truly transformative project that will contribute significantly to the future of energy production in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the construction of Sizewell C, a vital piece of infrastructure. Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols. Oversee setting out and leveling operations, ensuring accurate placement of structures and utilities. Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally with a background in nuclear or power plant construction. A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to nuclear power projects. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software for setting out and leveling operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges. A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
