Carmichaels are seeking a Site Engineer with structures experience to work on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire.
As a Site Engineer, you will oversee junior engineers on site and assist with construction operations. You will collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials to meet required standards, schedules, and budgets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and resolving technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub Agent.
Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work meets contractual requirements.
Ensuring the team has all necessary information and resources to perform their duties.
Assisting in producing schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributing to financial forecasting.
About The Candidate
HNC/Degree (construction/civil engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
You must hold the following competencies:
CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills. You must hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle.
