About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a high-profile major highways project based in Norwich. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of the project, with a specific focus on drainage and earthworks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the region's flagship infrastructure projects, offering competitive rates and the potential for long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of drainage and earthworks activities on site. Conduct setting out, surveying, and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with design and specifications. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other site personnel to maintain smooth project progression. Monitor and ensure site safety and adherence to health and safety regulations. Prepare daily and weekly reports on progress and technical issues.

Requirements: Proven experience in drainage and earthworks on major highways projects. SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and relevant software. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and technical standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
