Our client, a leading firm in the highway construction sector, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Norwich. This position demands a professional with experience in highways earthworks to ensure the successful delivery of their current projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure project milestones are met Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders Conducting site surveys and inspections Monitoring and managing site safety and compliance with regulations Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for effective implementation Maintaining accurate site documentation and records Ensuring quality control standards are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle Providing technical advice and solutions to site teams as required

Job Requirements:

Experience in site engineering within the highway construction sector Understanding of highways earthworks and associated construction methods Proficiency in interpreting and implementing engineering drawings and specifications Ability to manage site safety and ensure regulatory compliance Strong organisational and communication skills Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
