Site Engineer - Major Highway Project - Norwich A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a major highway project in Norwich. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project that will enhance the region's transportation network and contribute to its economic development. What You'll Do:

Play a key role in the execution of various construction activities on the highway project, contributing to the development of this vital route. Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols. Oversee setting out and leveling operations, ensuring accurate placement of structures and utilities. Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest standards. What We Need:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highway or road construction projects on the earthworks package of the job. A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to highway works. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software for setting out and leveling operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges. A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
