Site Engineer - Setting out Engineer - Outside IR35
We have a need for a freelance site engineer (without kit) on the A249 Grovehurst scheme.
Role Details:
The role involves upgrading the Grovehurst junction on the A249. Works comprise earthworks, various road make-ups including the use of CBGM, installation of new services, drainage, kerbs, and tarmac surfacing. Experience Required:
Experience required will be in highways setting out and surveys with robotic total station, locating existing services, working around live services, completing QA check sheets and diary, and working with subcontractors. Key Responsibilities:
Setting out using total stations and undertaking traditional setting out Reading and reviewing construction drawings Undertaking basic take-offs Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team Ensuring all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures What We Are Looking For:
Minimum 5 years experience delivering complex projects Relevant CSCS Computer competence Civil Engineering related qualification Successful experience as a site engineer
