The Project As an experienced Site Engineer, you will work closely with site and technical teams to offer engineering expertise and ensure the successful delivery of a new housing development in Stockton-on-Tees. You will be responsible for ensuring your section of works are completed efficiently and to the required quality standards while also conducting thorough surveys. Requirements For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum; Relevant industry qualification within technical / engineering topics SMSTS

and/or

SSSTS - desirable not essential CSCS Card It is also essential that you hold the experience below; Strong background in the industry with at least 5 years of experience of operating in a Site Engineer position for a well-established house builder / within the housing sector Additional skills; IT Skills Organisational skills AutoCAD knowledge Excellent attention to detail Effective time management Ability to lead and motivate a team Skillful in maintaining high quality standards Strong verbal and written communication skills Competent technical and legal knowledge with financial / commercial awareness Knowledgeable in highway design standards, sewers for adoption and British standards Proficient in utilising construction management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technology Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project specifications The Role Job Title:

Project Manager Duties Surveying Quality assurance Assist in the process of tendering Generate as-built surveys and record data Assist in the preparation of key status reports Manage relationships with consultants and stakeholders Provide technical/engineering support to the wider business Analyse and execute technical drawings, plans, and specifications Provide engineering assistance to site teams and internal departments Manage the coordination of utility appointments, including designs, quotations, and necessary agreements Offer technical and engineering expertise to the land and development team, supporting feasibility studies and take the lead in producing site viability reports that align with current regulatory standards for residential projects Assess the need for external consultants, finalise fees, outline the scope of services, and set timelines and delivery objectives Oversee consultant relationships, ensuring information is exchanged within agreed timeframes, aligned with the programme schedule and compliant with national housebuilding council standards Understand and address the commercial impacts associated with planning and architectural design, civil and structural engineering, geotechnical and ground remediation strategies Support the tendering, establishment, and on-site setup of management companies, ensuring compliance with group procedures and addressing all legal requirements associated with the relevant agreements Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed to secure building regulations approval, warranty certification, and the discharge of conditions Contribute to the creation of status reports and updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the technical function Attend site and take the lead in relevant technical meetings concerning the procurement and approval of site infrastructure Prepare and present regular progress reports, updates, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders Maintain detailed and accurate project records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation Oversee and coordinate the testing of materials, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet required standards and specifications This is a permanent position with an excellent salary + package on offer for the successful candidate.
