Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client, a regional contractor, on a 12-month Civil Engineering project in Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, setting out, quality assurance and have prior experience working on highways and infrastructure.
As a Site Engineer you will:
Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in setting out on civil engineering schemes. Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
Experience with Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels). Valid CSCS. A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. Experience in groundworks, highways and infrastructure. Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
Salary and benefits include:
£350-£400 per day PAYE Umbrella.
