We are looking for a proactive Site Facilities Manager at our secondary school in Balsall Common. The successful candidate is expected: To be responsible for providing an efficient and effective site facilities support service to the school, ensuring that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards. To be responsible for procurement and contract management of all external facilities contracts, including budget setting, monitoring and reporting. To be responsible for ensuring all statutory testing is undertaken, monitored and any concerns are reported. To be responsible for managing site and cleaning staff including the allocation and monitoring of work and health & safety at work. To comply at all times with the requirements of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and School’s Health & Safety policy. About you: Experience with Fire and Safety, Maintenance and Cleaning, General Estates and Lettings/whole School Functions. Someone who holds the iOSH qualification or equivalent would be ideal. Experience of Health and Safety in a previous role. Experience of managing a diverse workforce.
